Richard Hewitt grew up between two major military airfields in the North of Scotland, and has been interested in aviation all of his life. He has flown in about 90 different types of aircraft and has clocked up over 2,00 hours of flying. Richard, who describes himself as an enthusiastic stamp collector, has collected stamps and covers for most of his life. He gave a remarkable display covering aviation in Scotland starting with the 1910 Lanark Air Show, followed by material from 1934 of Airlines which have flown in Scotland and also certain flights from and to Scotland. A most entertaining and interesting afternoon.
